    This is the Wollemi pine....Wollemia nobilis

    Not a shrub..a perennial.
    Disporum I believe.

    Certainly looks like a Disporum, lots of different ones though.

    An amazing place indeed and yet another thankyou to Marlorena for the superb photos .
    The mystery Aesculus on p2 coincides with one I saw this morning in a private garden ; I think it's a dwarf form of Aesculus pavia (Red Buckeye) .

    I believe this is Aesculus pavia discolor koehnei..a dwarf buckeye.
