    Some more grapes harvested.

And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)

    They look great @Eustace 👍
  • @Eustace Amazing. Our red grape harvest finished over 3 weeks ago and we did have a great harvest.

Yesterday and today, I finally managed to clear the last of the tomatoes. All cooked and bottled now.

  • Collected the next batch of medlars for friends to make medlar jelly. Good size fruit this year.

A few more bunches of grapes harvested for juicing. Lots more still on the vine.

Tromboncino courgettes still growing bigger in this weather.

  • Having thought they were finished, yesterday I picked 3 more red peppers (sweet oxhorn type) form the Allotment greenhouse.  They are not fully ripe but enough colour on them to know they will ripen in the kitchen along with some very late tomatoes. I want to clear the greenhouse for winter salad, but the continued mild weather is still  producing "summer" crops.
    AB Still learning

  • @Eustace Amazing yet again. We harvested our white grapes back in late Sept. These are wine grapes and already have bottled some.

Thanks @bertrand-mabel. We prepare fresh juice out of these grapes. Have been picking from September onwards. Here is the last of the aubergines. They were plentiful this year.
