I continue to be thrilled by this 'Coral Beach' Peony... these Coral types are lovely aren't they? .. and the scent 'wow's me.. I wish I had grown this earlier,..
I too love those coral peonies, such a beautiful colours.
I have three Festiva Maxima peonies in this bed and all are doing well, but very few flowers have the raspberry ripple effect I was hoping for! Most of them are pure white.
Another plant which I salvaged from some new neighbours who moved in a few years ago. It's huge and just finished flowering this week. Had about 12 flowers the size of a fist.
A few peony and iris photos, not from my garden, but from my son's. The labels may be somewhere there, but didn't dare to fight with the 5 ft tall grass.
This one was more dark pink than is seen in the photo. And this one is more a red than the photo.
Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth

Here is another peony, maybe sea shell. It has only just opened. If it improves I will post another picture
