I cleared a border last year and saved some small bits of tuber, which I potted up and are growing. Can I ask please should I repot them now or wait until the autumn or even next year please. Any other advice always appreciated
I would plant them in the garden now (plant them shallow) so that they are mature enough to flower next year.

Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)

Thanks for that. I'm still in the course of making some new borders so hoping to see what I've got before planting them into hopefully a final position

She said they easily have 50 flowers on at once. I don't know about anyone else but my fully established herbaceous ones are nothing even close to that number.

My sole paeony plant (herbaceous) has a grand total of *one* bud. 😁

This year I may even get to see if I bought the correct one.

For an Itoh Peony I'm going to recommend 'Bartzella'.. not that I have it myself or know much about it, other than I see it in another garden locally and it's just fabulous, huge yellow blooms, flowers when young and seems easy to grow.. the person who has it knows nothing about gardening..
I've long coveted one but I'm always out of room..

I bought a pack of 3 from Hayloft 3 years ago (just checked my account history).  2 of them have buds on .. really looking forward to them opening!!  The other 2 (in previous post) I bought from T&M I seem to remember on a "pay postage, 2 free plants" promotion  - but it was quite a few years ago.  I'll post a pic when they open.
