    Lovely isn't it... yes I think you're right, it's normally more yellow in the centre,  but whatever, I think they look very similar.. it's supposed to have a strong fragrance too.. I do like the pinkish centre on yours..

    All lovely peonies and irises today... even without i.d.'s..

    Love your Duchess de Nemours too @halling. Another one for my list.
    Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
    And then my heart with pleasure fills,

    @Marlorena the surprise pink is my favorite part! I am trying to rescue a number of other peonies that were languishing in a shady part of the same bed. If I ever get them to bloom I’ll be curious to see if they are the same variety!
