Is your Niobe in a pot @Marlorena?

No not a pot.. I've had it in the ground for some years..

..this is the other side, the north side.. it's trained on a 6 foot obelisk which is not visible..  I think it's one clematis I couldn't be without..  I used to grow it with a pink rose, but I've changed that now to 'Bathsheba', which is too short to get in the picture..

I thought it was supposed to be cold sensitive,  so I've had mine in a tub. As yours is twice the size of mine @Marlorena maybe it's being too restricted. 🤔

Ok ok, I've never heard of it being cold sensitive... I think Clematis for the most part are very hardy plants as far as our climate is concerned, apart from a few types..

I have always found 'Niobe' to be one of the easiest in various gardens I've had, and never seems to fail..

..another Clematis I have found to be incredibly easy to grow is this 'Margaret Hunt'... planted in quite dryish soil, covered in beach pebbles with the head in full sun..
I don't use slug repellents here.. I do pinch out the growing tips..
I had never heard of this Clematis until someone on an American site recommended it... funny how influence spreads across the globe..
