Good morning all and a very happy birthday @punkdoc
I'll join you all for cake and fizz but I'm very busy in the garden so you will have to give me a shout.
Not saying what I've been doing in the garden incase @Dovefromabove pops in and sees and spoils the surprise!

Afternoon all,  lovely sunny day again but the ground is so dry I haven't done much yet. Waiting until it gets a bit cooler and for my bones to play ball.

Happy Birthday @punkdoc, a mere stripling compared to me!

@Busy-Lizzie, we went to Charingworth Manor, near Chipping Camden. We stayed there last year and liked it so much we went back. Hurrah for Telegraph special offers!
The Lords of the Manor hotel you mentioned was near Bourton on the Water, my sister stayed there once and loved it. Your roses look lovely, mine are also just coming out.

Might watch Chelsea again a bit later.

Lovely to see and sea @tui34, are you that close?

Don't overdo it @Ergates, very tempting I know to my cost but little and often my osteopath told me so I must do what I'm told!

Gosh, I'm rich, my bank has just sent me a cheque for 0.01p - left over interest on a defunct savings account. Think I'll frame it and put it in the loo!

Your stay in the Costwolds sounds lovely @Lizzie27.  I'll look out for your pics on the Gardens thread.

Back from meeting friends for lunch and a pleasant stroll around town to pick up some shopping.

And last night we went to our little local theatre to see Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris.  Wonderful.  If you haven't seen it yet - recommended.  Even the chaps in the audience enjoyed it.
