@MMflower Might I suggest Sheila's Perfumed. It maybe the colour combination you want, and can be trained up a trellis. Easy to grow, but can have blackspot ( not sure if that's just because mine is old, and newer ones might have better breeding for spot resistance) The difference between top and bottom flower shapes/colours were last years hot spell. It has a lovely fragrance too.
@Marlorena Hi Marlorena, I noticed these spots on the newish growth on my climbing Graham Thomas. Is it BS already do you think, or a feed issue. Cheers.
@peteS Just a fungus disease common in roses.. probably anthracnose.. just pick off affected leaves..
@Jason-3 Two lovely roses, I'm sure you'll be happy with those and delighted you've settled on them .. Roseraie has the most gorgeous scented blooms, very thorny..
Mini buds spotted on MH today . Although I love the pictures of @Mr. Vine Eye I ‘m underwhelmed with having the rose myself.so this year it will be decision year.
Gret’s. Joy also budding
That SS looks lovely .! impressed with people able to decide so quickly which rose they are going to order @Jason-3
@MMflower I wish I had a recommendation for you but pinky apricot is not a climber colour I have. You are quite right that Strawberry Hill, while it has much to commend it, is a clear pink. June 22I am having to learn a new (to me) phone's features so you may all be spared copious collages. My first photo here, Olivia Rose Austin, which is full of buds after being disappointing last year
@Imprevu - mine’s quite easy really. I don’t do any special feeding or anything. In fact I can’t feed it because there’s no space around it - wedged between the lawn and the wild flower patch. The hard work is in the training and pruning but for most of the season I just leave it to do its thing.
As we’ve all said before though, individual plants can vary hugely even if they’re the same variety. How old is yours?

I took your advice and ordered Alberic barbier, the rose looks a good fit to the space
I also ordered roseraie de l'hay, to grow through a very vigorous Hydrangea petiolaris.

@MMflower - regarding an apricot pink climber, Scent from Heaven is a good one. Won Rose of the Year award. Great health and scent too:
