    Which do you mean, Kew Gardens the Austin shrub, or Kew Rambler, which is a once flowering large growing rambling rose?
    I don't have any photos of Kew Rambler, but I've seen it in gardens.  I've not grown it.

    You might also look at 'Blushing Lucy' which has a good scent, and 'Maid of Kent'..

    Oh and don't worry about size, you prune back the long lengths during winter, if it's spread too much..  they all need controlling one way or another..

    I don't think I've ever seen so much sawfly damage on a rose Nollie...  other roses looking very nice though..

    It doesn’t help having three types of sawfly to feast on the roses - large, hairy and curled - but yes it’s particularly bad at the moment. Warm, humid weather to encourage them as well.

    I may have asked this a while ago but can't remember, does anyone feed their potted roses with tomato food or will I yield noticeably better results with a dedicated rose feed?

    Edit: Never mind, gave it a miss on this occasion as couldn't be sure it was the right rose. 🤓

    Yes it was Kew Rambler. I had the bush type on my mind as I've just moved the one I have !
    I might give one the more vigorous ramblers a go and prune hard over winter. Thanks again !

    @Lizzie27 - thanks. If it’s slugs I will raise them off the ground then.

    @Nollie - that wisteria is beautiful as is your house; I love period houses, especially stone.

    My last rose order for now. Pleased with thick healthy canes and growth from Cottage Memories.

    ^very nice.

    @Dirty Harry
    You should do both really... feed with a rose fertilizer, then liquid feed throughout the season... I started liquid feeding potted roses today..
