'Mrs. John Laing'.. 'Tottering.. ' 'Sweet Silouetta'.. small bunches in flowers in the Noisette style.. 'Wilhelm' a hybrid musk.. one of my best shrub roses.. Crocosmia 'Carmine Brilliant' / Allium 'Millenium.. ' Panicum 'Rebraun' in front.. Iris pallida 'Argentea variegata'.. always looks fresh..
In areas with lower rainfall, single and semi double roses require less maintenance, hence I have a few of them..
'Sally Holmes'.. large single flowers, white/yellow/sometimes pinkish.. that blooms almost continuously... little troubled by foliage diseases.. it competes with 'Kew Gardens'. 'Scented Garden'.. another continuous flowering rose.. 'Lucky'.. 'Comtesse Andre d'Oultremont'.. showing good promise for continuous bloom..
@LateralBreaks interesting information, my dad's got just joey, bought this year. Front border, double delight at the back and various dhalia, deutzia strawberry fields is also there but not in flower and a second flush of the lupins. My rescued double delight in the pot, some buds just opening and the fragrance on this rose is so strong.
Could I have people's comments (and pictures if they can spare them) of The Poet's Wife and Gabriel Oak tree standards. I have spots lined up for two more. One was decided ages ago when I saw @pitter-patter's Harlow C. I want a scented one for the other standard that has large blooms and out of the remaining standards they do that fit this were PW and GO. Any suggestions on which to get out of these two would be great.
Champagne M gearing up for a solid second flush. Cut if back from 6.5ft to 4ft after the first flush. Already at 5ft.........
Much larger blooms on Chandos B in this second flush...........
I would say it is fully grown now at 4ft by 3ft. Got there very quickly. Need to move it though as it is centre stage in the main border and the break in flushes is far too long.
Graham T is well on its way now........
After an eternity Gerty is back.........
Dahlia Blue Bayou............
Queen of D is the most popular rose by far in my garden for attracting pests. Leaf cutter bees have annihilated the leaves..........
Also these critters have set upon her too............
What are these orange larvae inside?
This spider setting up shop above my potted rhododendron catches something all the time. Seems to be a great flight path the web is in........
Fun to watch..........
Winchester C. Pretty mediocre second flush albeit healthy. Think it will get the axe which is a shame when it is retired but I can't have a fully established rose like this producing less blooms all summer than something like Desdemona produces in a few weeks of being purchased.
Susie. new this summer and growing well up the obelisk. Incredible sheen on the foliage and so healthy.

Papa Meilland - darker in real life. Very fragrant.
I don't know what the others are.
What is the dark foliaged plant in the pot bottom left, please? It goes beautifully with the roses.
