@pitter-patter, your lovely 'Elizabeth' looks far superior to mine.

Hi guys! Can anyone think of a David Austin shrub rose with flowers similar to The Generous Gardener? I can only come up with Desdemona. Are there any others? Thank you!

@Lizzie27 I can’t complain, it thrives on neglect. It’s still in the ‘temporary’ pot I’ve planted it last year when I got it and the used compost/garden soil mixture wasn’t great to begin with. It’s healthy and today it smells very nice. It’s true that the flowers don’t last that long, but I don’t think I would have particularly noticed had I not read about it on here.
  • @Marlorena can I ask, the deep purple phlox you combined with Absolutely Fabulous - is it "The King" and also your deep purple penstemon, is it "Raven" (Bird Series). Cheers.

Hello! I've recently received my new Strawberry Hill from David Austin and noticed all three canes have these deep scars on them. Is this anything to worry about?
