^ that does look somewhat chlorotic @WAMS, MW is one very prone to it for me, but don’t overdo the iron either otherwise the leaves turn a very dark olive green. I’m trialling a slow-release granular tomato food with iron at the mo so I’ll see of that works better.

@cooldoc, YdA is really too young to properly judge, but it did have a second flush of sorts and there is some promising new growth post-apocalyptic heat. I suspect, at best, it will reach the giddy reblooming heights of Gertrude Jekyll.

Hi all. What is the cause of and solution for a rose growing with very thin canes not strong enough to support itself?
Is that LoS? Like a lot of David Austin roses, it is floppy. I grow mine on an obelisk now.
    It is that LoS alright.

It’s so floppy though that it’s like a ground cover geranium or something! I hole after a winter prune it’ll be more robust next year!

Yes, it's my only rose that seems to suffer from this.

@cooldoc  For me, Yolande d'Aragon had two good flushes per year - no blooms in between.

@LateralBreaks  No blackspot this year on Rose de Rescht, Chawton Cottage, Purple Siluetta and Belle de Jour.
