Properly jealous of those of you with Munstead Wood 😕

My Falstaff isn't doing too well this year. It has blackspot, rust and has been viciously attacked by vine weevils.
Slowly building a wildlife garden, in a new build in East Yorkshire.

    Sawflys are a menace.
I would be tempted by Abricot Avalanche  @Nollie it really seems a good one. Hopefully it will become available here. Smudge looks adorable keeping an eye on you while chilling, presumably literally, on the spanish steps.  How is the Smudge/Bill relationship?
I can recommend Olivia RA @Herbloom for everything you need apart from scent. Penelope L does look even more  promising but still early days. I don't know your other contenders.
Talking of which, did you make it to DA @JessicaS? Report please
Lovely DAs there @WAMS, what on earth are they thinking discontinuing those?

Sorry, forgot to put it on my last post but does anyone know what's going on with my rose cutting where the bud's protective green leaves are turning into actual leaves!?

@Alfie_ ive seen that a few times, I agree fasciation, insect damage / adverse weather conditions can cause it. I wouldn't worry as it will just be an odd case, you can leave them as they are, rest of plant should be fine.

David Austin confirmed they have some penelope in the shop and online will be restocked in a few weeks too so yay. I shall grab one this weekend.
