Probably going list - Eden, Nostalgia, Elbflorenz(at least 1), The Wedgewood Rose (at least - 1) unbelievably blooms are getting spoiled ! Unable to open in rain , balling terribly. I don't know why still DA selling this ?! Augusta Luise, Chandos beauty, Souvenir de la malmaison, Lovely Parfuma, Fragrant Alizee, Wild Edric ( too thorny!), Pretty perfuma.
@Vh72 - what you’re doing re feeding is pretty much what I do. Slow release Spring and then again mid summer then liquid feed during flowering season as per instructions (most is every fortnight or so). A DA person I emailed about issues I had with a rose said tomorite works really well so I use that now as you can get that really cheap. I do find that established roses in the ground don’t need liquid feeding though. So I just use the slow release feeds with a mulch in the spring.
@Nollie re the thorns on Champagne M it varies depending on the age of the growth. The new growth isn’t as thorny except the main leaders in the centre. It is thorny but I don’t think it’s on the level of Gertrude J for example. Dark desire is another terrible one for me but the worst by far is Winchester C just because the thorns are tiny and razor sharp AND covering the entire stem. I can’t even handle that one gently without gloves. So nothing on the level of these. I will try and take some picture of the stems later and post them.

Can I ask @Rojas your particular reasons for shunting Eden, Chandos and SdMM? Thanks
@SalixGold Eden rose was the first to caught my attention towards roses and I have planted it in 2019 and it's really really slow in growing. Plant remains small at the ground level even after more than 4 years, no new basals and flowers do spoil in rain. I think I have lost my patience and I can't wait any longer for this rose to grow! You can find the picture on this thread.
Chandos Beauty: Lovely scent, this year's first flush was very good but taking a long break now! I don't remember seeing these many flowers last year and the plant remains stingy. As you can see the other stems were nearly died so I have cut it down. These all flowers were on single stem. Looks like a standard rose!
@ElbFee sorry to hear of your many and varied weather and wildlife tribulations. It seems there is no end of challenges thrown at us gardeners and rose growers ❤️🩹
WAMS, those blooms on MAM are only half size. I got some Teas because of their reputation in heat, but both (Lady Hillingdon is the other) are much fussier than I imagined in less than perfect conditions - prone to blackspot, dropping leaves with gay abandon, poor cold/rain tolerance with bonus balling but then frying in high heat too.
@Alfie_ CM doesn’t sound too bad, then, thorn wise. Copeable perhaps. Thanks.
I see there is a general falling out of love with Chandos Beauty, the slow to rebloom HT characteristic is strongly expressed, it seems.
On a happier note, I am so pleased with this Munstead Wood from a skinny, unprepossessing cutting, now in it’s third year. A lovely, bushy shape with none of the stiff, awkward architecture of my grafted plants and pristine foliage. Currently working up to a third flush:
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
I use Wilko rose food and Wilko azalea food, whichever is available in nearby store. In pots I also used to use whichever liquid tomato food was on offer.
@Rojas Your Chandos B looks superb! Shame it's going. Why is your Augusta L going?! I bought two Eden rose(s) last summer, one was bare root. I'll go and get pics of their growth but I think the potted it larger, the bare root is taking it slower which I don't mind. I'm not going to keep my red Eden though I think I'll weed out all my red roses.
@WAMS you asked about alstomerias. I have Indian Summer in my garden in Dordogne and OH's garden in Norfolk and it has survived the winter in both. It flowers all summer.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Some young growth almost thornless:
This year's semi hardwood:
This year's hardwood leaders in the middle. From 3ft in spring to 7.5 ft now.
Old growth at the base that hasn't been cut into for years. Pretty menacing.
Your Munstead W own root looks awesome. Wish I had that rose.
