  • @agnasia those look like a type of ice cream tulip.  Perfectly normal.

Help needed for my Wildfire rose. The second photo is from 15/4/22 and the first from today. This rose was bought bare root in Jan 22 and planted in a pot. Two other roses were bought and potted at the same time. The two other potted roses are doing very well but obviously this one is not, yet all have been treated exactly the same. Is there anything I should be doing to help it survive? All three roses are still in their pots and are in a west-facing sheltered spot.
    Many thanks for any advice.

I’ve got cheeky starlings pinching the leaves right off my roses! They’ve been at it all day. Think they’ve found a spot to nest in the neighbours roof.
