    @Alfie_ glad your Felicia is doing well. Mine is next to Cornelia, both planted under 2 years ago. Cornelia is doing well and had lots of flowers but Felicia is struggling.

    I've asked before, but please would people give the full names of their roses, not just the initials. I don't know what they all are and I've been gardening for 50 years. How would anyone new to gardening know? I understand well known ones like GdeF and WOH, but not all.

    @qv9cmvkjnkKbX8UYqD, yes you can deadhead if the flowers have been ruined by rain. Some roses do what we call balling, flowers go into a ball and don't open. Sometimes you can gently remove the stuck together petals.

    @Eustace that Sweet Honey picture belongs in a magazine - beautiful with the raindrops on. 

    @Lizzie27 - sorry I only abbreviate PAoK (Princess Alexandria of Kent) if it was that one, all others I type out for the reasons you outline. I too don't know some of the abbreviations :D
