@Alfie_ glad your Felicia is doing well. Mine is next to Cornelia, both planted under 2 years ago. Cornelia is doing well and had lots of flowers but Felicia is struggling.
I've asked before, but please would people give the full names of their roses, not just the initials. I don't know what they all are and I've been gardening for 50 years. How would anyone new to gardening know? I understand well known ones like GdeF and WOH, but not all.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
@qv9cmvkjnkKbX8UYqD, yes you can deadhead if the flowers have been ruined by rain. Some roses do what we call balling, flowers go into a ball and don't open. Sometimes you can gently remove the stuck together petals.

OK, sorry @Busy-Lizzie. LEH = Lady Emma Hamilton, not that the knowledge would benefit a newcomer now, unfortunately. @Green_pot your picture of Lady Emma Hamilton on the previous page is one of the nicest shots of it I've seen! (I can't see mine at all as the blooms are mostly flopping onto other plants.) @cooldoc the leaf-cutter bee thing is incredible. I see the little telltale holes in Gertrude Jekyll and Perennial Blue but have never spotted the wee culprits.
@WAMS here it was just a few minutes of downpour testing whether the gutters and drains are blocked, but not much to soak into the ground. Hope it rains some more as the sky is still cloudy.
Here are a few photos taken before the rain. Cremosa - new bareroot this season. Marchenzauber/Bliss Parfuma The Churchill rose Frilly Cuff Bordure Abricot Red Finesse Sweet Honey 🍯 Evelyn May - photo taken yesterday. Last but not the least, the amaryllises are flowering.
Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth
We had a real downpour here this morning. I got very excited until both front and rear gardens got flooded… it’s all drained away now and I have a butt and a half full of rainwater (got filled in less than an hour…)
@Alfie_ Your 'Felicia' rose is delicious.. I do think it's the best of those hybrid musks.. the scent is divine isn't it, the blooms are such perfection [except in the rain].. and few thorns to worry about.. grows very big, got too big or me but I'd love to have it back again..
All your roses are looking great... as are all the others today - fab selection.
Pouring with rain here.. more typical June weather..
...talking of leaf cutter bees.. ever handy with my camera, one landed in my greenhouse where I had roses.. about to make off with its prize..
@Eustace that Sweet Honey picture belongs in a magazine - beautiful with the raindrops on.
@Lizzie27 - sorry I only abbreviate PAoK (Princess Alexandria of Kent) if it was that one, all others I type out for the reasons you outline. I too don't know some of the abbreviations

Actually just had 20mins of light rain. Hope Tack and Eustace and others got some, too.
Twilight Zone keeps going

Galway Bay... flowering a lot more this year
Well Being does smell like LEH.... thanks for pointing that out @cooldoc (ants are becoming a problem again unfortunately)
Darcey and the Descending Doggy Doom (she is licking her lips because mmm, manure).
Fragrant Plum. Good scent, huge blooms and divine colours.
