Had a little giggle at the news about the barn @punkdoc couldn't resist it.
Fingers crossed for tomorrow @D0rdogne_Damsel, hope all goes well for you. Your new prospective neighbour sounds quite delightful, useful too.
Hope Rob is feeling more settled now he's home @Dovefromabove, will you be able to drive him to hospital for his check up on Thursday or will he need ambulance transport?
The wind is getting up here so I think we may be in for a stormy night but at least we did have a few sunny spells today which gave us a break from the continuous rain.

    Evening everyone.

I’ve had such a busy 48 hours so not logged on and I missed the wonderful news that @Dovefromabove’s son is out of hospital! It’s going to be hard, but it sounds like the best Rehab ward! A determined patient surrounded by love, care and support is the perfect recipe.

Everyone sounds busy so take care all.

Popped in to wish @D0rdogne_Damsel good luck for tomorrow - may the bank be content that you have provided them with all the paperwork in the correct manner and that they will see no reason to refuse your mortgage.

Hope all proceeds well @coccinella - blimmin' thyroids, blimmin' lymph glands.

Happy to hear that @Hostafan1 has been well fed and is delighting in his grandkids.  3 is my favourite age - they are so cute and funny at that age.

Enjoy Snettisham @Allotment Boy.  It's a lovely village.  There's a farm near there that should be lambing at the moment - there was when we were there about this time a couple of years ago.

And so hoping your ex-NDN can hear all our titters @punkdoc.  Good old Karma.

    Good morning!

Crisp and bright this morning.  Up at sparrow's fart as I have to get the car to the garage to get the cam belt? (courroie de distribution) changed.

No digging today  but maybe some sowings are in order.

Good luck @D0rdogne_Damsel with the bureaucrats today.  And lots of love to Dove @Dovefromabove with the new patient.  Have you got some sort of hospital support?

I hope you all have an agreeable day wherever you are, whatever you are doing.

    Good morning Forkers,

best wishes today for your shoulder injection @Lizzie27. Fingers crossed too for @D0rdogne_Damsel. A good neighbour can save your life, good news.
@Hostafan1 is having a good time with grandchilddren and good food, excellent.

I am going to pack a small case for my trip to NI, flying to Dublin then bus to Belfast. Our friends live on the coast, in Bangor.  I might not be around for the next few days but waking up at the crack of dawn will ensure that I check the news.

    Have a good day all.

That is excellent news @D0rdogne_Damsel!  Enough to stop the owner putting the house back on the market?

Have a good time in NI @coccinella.

Picked up the car yesterday - they could find nothing wrong with it.  They said drive it for a week and get back to them if the problem persists.  Well - it happened again before I even got home!

It happens in stop start traffic, where I am on and off the clutch and in 1st gear for a while. When the road clears and I then try to change up, it won't let me.  And as I was driving at school chucking out time, it was mainly stop start traffic.   Luckily every time this has happened I have been able to pull into the side to pump the clutch and get going again, but it's scary.  And prevents me from driving around cities like Norwich.

Ho hum.  The garage are trying to save me money but I think I may need a new clutch. They replaced the slave and master cylinder last year and that helped for a while.

    Hello all.

Good news for @D0rdogne_Damsel. I was going to say good luck, but I've read her post.

I hope @Dovefromabove and her son slept well last night.

It was tipping with rain but the now the sun has come out.

I went to the shop in the next village for some milk then the surgery for OH's prescription before brekkies then I took my French car to the Renault garage to be serviced. They lent me a Clio to drive home.

The hospital rang with some questions about NDN. She should come home today. I've made up her bed.
