Really happy with how the roses are looking this year 😊
Your roses are beautiful.  Do you have to spray

Thanks @jamesholt! I’ve done absolutely nothing with them other than a feed early in the season. 😊
I’ve no idea what I’m doing.

Have you amended your clay soil @Simone_in_Wiltshire to grow the Eremurus ? I've finally manged to get one to flower this year after multiple attempts following the growing conditions to the book - sandy/loam well drained soil with full sun and no competition from neighbours.

That's a beautiful picture @Athelas of the roses allium and nepeta
  • @Perki yes, the Eremurus came into the bed where I had taken out the clay soil spate-deep and added topsoil. Most of the plants just grow inside that height. This was OH’s old bed and the Eremurus and the Delphinium were the only survivours. I hadn’t done anything with my old bed back then and I hardly got something to grow there.

    I my garden.

A great combination of colours and variety of form @RoddersUK, and very impressive Hostas!
