  • @Papi Jo It’s a Deutzia hybrid Magicien. It’s a bit too pinkish in my opinion but the bees clearly love it and it’s the first time it flowers.

@Simone_in_Wiltshire Thanks! According to the RHS site it should rather be called Deutzia 'Strawberry Fields' or 'Tourbillon Rouge' or 'Rubra'. ;)  but ... What's in a name?

@Papi Jo GardenerSuze also mentioned something with Strawberry but I can only trust the label on the pot. I’m not an expert as you are.
Thanks for the link that shows both names are correct.

I love that view of your garden, pitter-patter!
  • This looks absolutely beautiful @Psalm139. Must be very tranquil sitting there.

Really love how the garden is looking (despite my negligence)

Not bad for a "neglected" garden. ;) Do persevere in that kind of negligence, your garden seems to thrive on it. B)

A beautiful garden @Psalm139 and the best pest control is done by wildlife, a perfect balance 😃

Such a beautiful garden @Psalm139. It doesn’t look neglected to me, and looks very restful and inviting. Have you got both a white rose and a white clematis growing up your arch? They look gorgeous.
