These Allium sphaerocephalon bulbs [are] rising above the Eryngium and sitting amongst a 'mist' of swaying Deschampsia.

    A lovely combo! B)

Thanks. But totally accidental! I hadn't realised how tall they would grow, or that they would be at their best at the same time as the other two.

  • @LunarSea. Your pictures are all fantastic. Always a joy to see them.

I’m waiting for the next wave of plants to flower in my garden.
Very strong winds here and our cat being poorly, hardly a chance to take pictures.

    I my garden.

Thankyou Simone :)  I get the bug occasionally! I've recently got my 40D out again and am thinking seriously about buying a new image-stabilised macro lens. Most of the time I can't be bothered though or I'm too busy gardening, birdwatching or walking. But the flowers this year are almost begging to be photographed.

Hope your cat's health soon improves. I know how upsetting it can be when they're under the weather.

Few of the plants heading past their best but grasses starting to do their thing now.

Some lovely plants there @Wrigs21 and a lovely wild feel to your garden. I've been tempted to add some Veronicastrum to our garden many times. Recently saw 'Fascination' doing it's weird fasciation thing and I was sold.

Do it, buy the lens, Lunarsea. Taking such pictures and editing them is the highlight of a garden season.

We are fully aware that this will be our cat's last summer. I'm so glad that I made her happy with the cat mint.

    I my garden.

Thank you. Yes the random twists and curls can look very strange!
