2 1/2 weeks on from my hip replacement and everything is going very well.  So much so in fact that I have renewed my annual travel insurance (eyes still watering from that) and booked the flights for our holiday to Crete in September.  Accommodation was provisionally booked when we were out there last year.  Can't wait.

I went into town for the first time since my hip replacement.  The place was full of old gits and old biddies on stick, walkers or pulling wheeled shopping bags.  I fitted right in. :D

My daughter's birthday card this year was made using vegetable ink on paper imbedded with wild flower seeds with instructions on the back for planting. What a good idea, I'm chuffed to bits with it.
