Had a little retail therapy in a local GC this morning. Came back with 4 bright pink cyclamen for the kitchen windowsill box, a pk of blue dwarf iris ditto and a bag of alpine grit. Also enjoyed coffee and cake and a natter with a friend.

Knit and natter or, more colloquially, stitch and bitch!

Which it is depends entirely on the subject of the conversation 😝

I've just been watching the Rugby World Cup.  Seeing some of the Tonga players with tears pouring down their faces when attempting to sing their National Anthem shows just how much representing their country means to so many players.  Unfortunately there are some, predominantly footballers from what I've seen and read over the years, who think representing their country is more of a nuisance than an honour.

I find it weirdly therapeutic tweezing bent grass out of the middle of perennials - especially when I come across a really long, bushy one.
Even though it's exactly the same process, tweezing out wild strawberries is a PITA.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

Today's RTBC - I had my flu jab this morning, and my arm isn't sore yet. Fingers crossed for it not getting too uncomfortable tonight 🤞.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
