Good morning Ante. Have you got all your new furniture unpacked and placed where you want it?
I need to finish taking down cards and the bits of decoration I have missed - I always miss something every year!

  • Good morning LB, Ante and all to follow.  I still feel rather rubbish and a dragging tummy ache but I’m washed and dresses, thank you for your kind wishes.  I’ve done a covid test and thankfully it isn’t that.  I hope all are okay.

Good morning Rosie. Good to see you. Whatever bug you have had it has certainly taken it out of you so spoil yourself today. More rest and plenty of liquids and maybe a furry friend to cheer you up?

    Good morning Rosie and Rubee.

Rosie, nice to see you. I hope you will soon be completely recovered.

LB, my furniture are still in pieces, but I'll have time this afternoon to assemble it.

@Ladybird4 it’s head chef at a beautiful country house where they do a lot of weddings. A company he worked for years ago got in touch asking him to go along to see what he thinks and he seems keen if they can pay him what he is worth. It would mean a more settled work pattern which is really what he needs to control his diabetes properly.

Debs, I have everything crossed here for your fiancé that the job + wages are suitable for him. He must feel quite pleased that he has been 'head hunted' though. I also appreciate that it will give both of you peace of mind.

Good morning all. Rosie, it's lovely to hear from you and I hope the recovery continues well. Take it easy and as LB says, plenty of fluids. This is certainly a horrible bug by the sounds of it.
Debs, fingers crossed for your fiancé, that would be just grand for you both.
Ante, busy day ahead of you but hope you get the desk put together successfully.
LB, here you go again with rain.....never ends......
