@HarryWhite Malvern reminds me on Church Road to reach the car park next road by Wilko, so the satnav. While waiting in the queue, being a driver novice, I was sweating waterfalls. Stop and go on a 20% hill joining a road where the left side view is blocked by a wall, hill start and 90 degree turn all at the same time, I was screaming.
But going up to the hills was marvellous.
On the way home, we saw that there is a car park Priory Road, nice flat.
Yes it's a bit of a nightmare that hill and junction, even for the best of drivers! I dont very often hear my wife swear, but when she does it's usually there
Glad you enjoyed the hill walk
I've just seen Ronnie O'Sullivan at the garden center. I think he was eyeing up a plant.
Walked in a part of Luxembourg city this morning. Lovely to find a food market tucked in a park where we had lovely refreshments in the form of Gromperekichelchen and beer.
@HarryWhite you are indeed blessed to live there. We went to the Malvern Spring Show with friends who live there and we went for a walk on the Malvern Hills. The bluebells were out, beautiful, and stunning views.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
What an interesting thread. Beautiful phots everyone. I just starting taking a photo each time I go for a walk. I thought it would be motivating. Even more motivating is to share the photos. Here is one of Central Park in Burnaby, a short walk from my home.
My mum lives half way up them and has beautiful views across Worcestershire and beyond. We have a debate, I'm at the foot of them and tell her they are just as beautiful looking up.
I sit here for hours looking up
There are some stunning walks and i'd recommend a day trip or overnight stay to anyone.

The only time I've been there @HarryWhite was decades ago - to the showground at Malvern, and the hills are the backdrop. Is that a recent photo @BeeCee? Still a lot of foliage on the trees.
Not been on a hill for ages, but this is one of my favourites. Beinn an Lochain taken from Beinn Luibhean. The latter sits on the infamous Rest and be Thankful road - literally, as the landslides from it cause the road closures. A contentious subject here.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Had to detour onto that road in the summer, whilst heading up to Gairloch, A82 was closed by an accident. Ended up going up towards Oban, added a long time to journey.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
It's about 60 miles detour if the R&BT is closed @punkdoc and you need to get back round to Inveraray. My sister's friend lives in Lochgilphead, and a couple of years ago she was getting cancer treatment, so had to travel to Glasgow regularly. Not funny at all. Most people feel there should have been a proper tunnel done to start with instead of these daft catch pits - which don't work Various solutions were being touted, including bridges [you'd need to start down at Greenock for that] and - unbelievably- access from further up the A82 beside L. Lomond and across to Butterbridge [just beyond B. Luibhean] . Aye - there would be never be any problem with that....
