    Great photos Scrogging. Thank you.
These are snapshots of the walks in NI along the Ard peninsula.
Gorse everywhere. Hebe and Camelia also abundant. Never seen Hebe growing wild.

@coccinella, thank you, luckily for Floss the old adage of dogs looking like their owners isn't true in my case 🤣. I am indeed lucky, it means I get to explore all of our local countryside with a faithful companion, whatever the weather.
It's been lovely over the past couple of days to leave the waterproofs at home and enjoy some sunshine 😊. Todays walk had this field of Cuckoo Flower ( a cuckoo was calling later on the walk) and lots of wild garlic.

Bluebells are just appearing here now, over the last week or ten days. Always lovely  :)
The wild garlic is only just starting, but I agree @scroggin- it always looks impressive when it's around trees and covering a fairly big area.

We're back to cold and wet the last couple of days, although no wind- which really helps, but we can't complain as we had lots of frost/sun the previous couple of weeks. As you say - nice not to need the waterproofs  ;)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Wonderful photos.
When I could still walk, I did the Buttermere horseshoe, about 6000feet of ascent, I seem to remember. Now I am struggling to climb the stairs.
How can you lie there and think of England

Lovely pix @scroggin, and just shows how changeable our weather can be at height - and often a lot worse than that. I lost track of the number of summit photos where you could see nothing from about ten feet away.
I've not been out for ages, and need to get my mojo back as it seems to have escaped me completely. Other things to worry about recently too, so I've missed the great frosty/sunny weather we had in later April.
I know the feeling @punkdoc, although my knee problems are small change compared to yours. Not sure what my biggest total ascent is- I don't really think about it. That's a calculation for a rainy day possibly.  :)
