Ante, I had an email saying my bird food will be delivered between 11:37 and 12:37 today. Please note the critical minutes!

.LB and Rubee, I, too, need to renew my bus pass but I received a letter saying that I had to ring a certain telephone number and " register" and then my new pass would be released. It took me four days to get through to someone. Seems all council aren't the same LB! Apparently our council don't issue the passes anymore, it's a third party.
Ante, with temperatures of 13 I'm coming to live with you........
Particularly as my heat rash still hasn't gone. Perhaps if I go to a warmer climate I'll get a cold rashπŸ€πŸ€”πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

Well time is up for my delivery and there haven't been any signs as yet. I am sharing your frustration Ante.

I spoke a little too soon. Driver carried the box to my garage for me and I noticed that there has been the finest of rain showers which has frozen immediately on the cold ground to make everywhere like an ice rink. Very dangerous.

When I went online to renew our bus passes there was a sentence to tap on for new claimants and a different one for renewing Β .When I was filling out the form for renewing I couldn’t get any further than the email and password boxes .Eventually I gave up and emailed enquiries. After spending some time giving them our full names and dates of birth they said they would post our passes on to us . What I found strange they didn’t query if we had got our email and password right .

Ruby, I reckon Red maple hit the nail on the head when she said it was probably a fault at their end.

  • Sm shop today, rather busy, frosty underfoot on paths and roads. Β I read back before tea and now gone blank. Β LB hope your cold is soon gone, bless you.

Me too Rosie. I've tried to retain what I've read but it's gone I'm afraid. Brain overactive at the moment.
OH has made good the bit of mess left behind by the BT man, I've tidied up and made food after my flood this morning. We've put some Christmas lights on a fewΒ shrubs in front and back garden and the main tree in the house has finally gone up.
Finally too tired to do anything so will have to sign out early today. LB glad your parcel arrived. Night all.Β

Thank you for your thoughts Rosie. After my bird food arrived I spent time in the garage transferring it all into the feed bin and by the time I had finished my hands were frozen.
I then went and retrieved the tree I was talking about yesterday (the poor little, much reduced, covered in fake snow, two (possibly three) years in my care. I replanted it into a bigger pot and brought it indoors. I will decorate it tomorrow.
