Good morning all. Just off to work hope buses are better than yesterday I waited 35 minutes and was frozen by the time I got to work!
Very busy again and the situation with antibiotics is getting crucial. Doctors seem better organised but because only the lower strengths are available we are giving out 5 or 6 bottles at a time so obviously that’s not helping supply issues. It’s very stressful and I think mostly unnecessary as there are really no more dangerous bacterial infections out there but the media has frightened parents and they are panicking. Very irresponsible.
Good morning Debs. I think you have made a very valid point about the 'media hysteria' that sparks panic amongst some of the public. This appears to happen more and more often these days - look what happened through covid.

Good morning Ruby. A cold just has to work its way out of your system. They don't really bother me that much but because Bestie has an elderly Mum (90+) its polite to keep away until the cold goes. Her Mum is a real character - still all there with her mental faculties and she regularly gets her electric scooter out and motors down to her local 'sco where she is well known and fussed over.

Just for @biglad..... we have 3 'proper' weather stations (on airfields) close by. Temps there are currently -6C, -9C and -9C. That probably explains why I can't open the bathroom window to dry the room after our showers - it's stuck solid.
Ante - your tree looks beautiful.
LB - sensible not to go to Bestie's today. My cold was a bit unpleasant for a couple of days but it was also very shortlived - hope yours is the same.
