    Good evening.

Where did you all disappeared  for whole day? Here was lovely sunny day, too warm on the sun. I spent few hours in my front garden, mostly around rosemary and lavender bushes. I took another 40 lavender and 15 rosemary cuttings.
Now is time for dinner and tv. My backs are bit stiffy.

    Evening all,

Having resigned myself to retirement from r-a-a-f duties at the end of last season, I've had to get the kit back out. Got a call to do a game last Tuesday, another today and one in the morning. I'm definitely not up to it even if they're only kids games. Marti joined me this afternoon, which is always a bonus :o

Unfortunately, the chap appointing is aware that I'm not working at the moment and cares not about the length of my ailment list. It could be a tiring winter!

    Hello all.
I have been kntting most of today due to disgusting weather. This morning I had to go to the pub to confirm the booking for our Quiz group's December meal. The pub opens at 10:00 and is not far from me at all - in fact its where we used to do our monthly quizzes. I was very surprised when I got to the car park and it was almost full. When I went into the pub I realised that everyone was having breakfast. The smells were delicious! Once I got everything sorted I drove home and that's when I started my knitting. I have almost completed the nativity set for the lady at the Food Bank - just got to embroider on the facial features. I'll do that tomorrow in the daylight. I hope that you have all remembered to do your clock altering.
Biglad, why did the weather have to change for your RAAF duties? Can you still ref if you are swaddled up like the Michelin man?
Ante, you have just reminded me that I could do with making some more lavender cuttings. My old plant is getting very woody now.
I have just ralised that I have double booked on Tuesday. Got BG coming to service the boiler and the electrician coming to replace my back garden security light. At least those two jobs will be out of the way.

I've got enough 'spare tyres' as it is @Ladybird4 :o It was warm enough today, so the rain didn't bother me too much. It's wapping it down now though. We've had more than enough recently. I don't want to test the drains in the back lawn too much this winter.

Miserable day here too, constant rain all day, horrible drizzled stuff, very wet💦💦 I,,too, have been knitting, I've started another " throw" with some wool my mum gave me,on our last visit. It's an Aran and is knitting up quite stiff so it's a little hard going.LB, great that you've got the xmas lunch date sorted out and that your e nearly completed your nativity knitting, brilliant.
@Ante1 , can I change places with you please? I'd love to feel a bit of sun on me, as it's gone quite cool here. Plus, I'd love to do some gardening in the sunshine. ☀️☀️

LB, if you need I have dozens lavender and rosemary cuttings, already rooted. Just say and I'll send you thru the tunnels. 😊

Hazel, I will gladly change a place with you for a couple days. We really need rain, it's all dry and I need to water my garden. Just for you, today's sunset.

No indeed Biglad. It would be very nice to let it all get settled in before it has to cope with floods of water.
Ante, I'll have to put a nose bag on Al or he will eat all of the cuttings! . What a stunning picture of the sunset. All I can see is the dark!
Hazel did you finish the baby blanket?
I am signing out for tonight. I'll see you all tomorrow. Enjoy your evenings and sleep well.

Well, I've given up knitting the aran throw on number 5.5mm needles.Have gone onto a much larger needle- number 1- that's much better. Wool is now softer to knit and moving along the needles easier and smoother,so will continue this way and see how far the wool goes. LB, the baby blanket is still ongoing, just fancied a change so have the two items needing finishing. Won't take me long.
Ante, I'll definitely change with you. I can't send the rain down the tunnel though, it'll flood Al out, so I'll post some to you, ok?😂😂😊
Biglad, oops, be careful with your ref-ing duties now. ( you'll start making more use of the CC.....). Make sure that chap who does " the appointing" knows that you're retired!
LB, meant to say I had to laugh when I saw that house in the picture you posted of all the Halloween stuff. We have one or two houses round here that are decked out with lots of things.👻💀🎃🎃
Ive changed all the clocks now so it really feels too early to go to bed, but am tired so will see how we go. I'll be up ( in the morning) at some ridiculous hour now🥴 Night all.

Good morning all. Windy here but dry at the moment. Yesterday started off with torrential rain but then brightened up to a dry warm afternoon
Porch is now decorated for trickle treaters and I have lots of sweets.
Son has gone to work and fiancé is in Bristol so I have the house to myself so after a bit of tidying I am going to sort out all my soap and candle making supplies from back room. Sunday lunch and a lazy afternoon beckons.
Still lots of fireworks 💥 here people must have plenty of money.
