LB, yes, the hoodie is definitely coming in handy at the moment. Goodness me, snow then rain intermingled with ice. All you need now is a bit of sun and then you've had the full spectrum of weathers. Mad, isn't it? It has been a tiny bit milder here today, as the days gone on, but still so cold you'd hardly notice any difference. However, OH did brave the weather to give the car a very quick rinse over as it was black. He's noticed we need a new backscreen window wiper too, as it's split now. I had the ย flat hot metal thing out and had Lily's TV on so I've been busy with that.
Debs, gonna call you Busy-2! You two never stop " doing!", I'm tired ย out reading all you do. I could never keep up๐Ÿ˜Š
Ive rescued some tiny seedlings I took ย from some seeds off the Royal Bumble Salvia we have and brought them inside from the greenhouse. Frozen up. What a sorry sight they were. I've potted them on and put them over the radiator to warm up. Hopefully ย they'll survive, as I hope the cyclamen will with their fleece coast on LB.ย
Am signing off for today. Have a good evening, keep warm, wrap up and hope you sleep well. This time next it will be Christmas Eve๐ŸซฃWonder if ย 'he' will come?? Night all.ย

There's been a bit of a thaw here but it's still essentially white over. That will change by this time tomorrow!

The birds have been feasting on the crab apples, rose hips and fallen quinces for the last few days and there have been lots and lots of Fieldfares amongst the finches, tits, robins and numerous blackbirds. It's been a colourful sight!ย

I had never (knowingly) seen a fieldfare before we moved to this house but they put in an appearance every so often here. This week there has been a substantial number of them in the garden - often about 10 or 12 at a time. Beautiful creatures.

Hazel - hope the flood damage has been tidied away ok. Fingers crossed for the cyclamen. If they're hedes or coums they'll be fine but I suspect they're indoor ones.

Ante- congratulations to your team. Enjoy your apple pie and mulled wine๐Ÿ˜‹

LB - your little tree looks very pretty. I could do with a very short length of lights like that for my table deco.

Apparently MIL requested a trip to the SM this morning, she's asked for fish & chips for tea and has decided to put up some decos this afternoon. Sounds like she's feeling a bit better! OH will have been more than happy to oblige with the first 2 requests but not the third...

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
