Happy Golden anniversary @Pat E!  Lovely pic. of the two of you when you were nought but young hippies!
Things gearing up for the weekend now.  As Dove says, persisting rain at the moment - has it washed away all the pitch markings I did for the stallholders?  Probably will have to do it again.
I am now a radio star, having done two interviews with local community radio stations now!  Didn't feel that it was polite to ask how many listeners they have.
Hugs to all who need them.  Keep on keeping on to everyone else!

Seriously wet here, should test the roof work we have had done.

The judge is considering ex NDN's claim for expenses, following our legal case. If we lose this, I will completely lose trust in our legal system.

I have finally got out of bed, as due flu vaccine, plus need to book pneumonia vaccine.

Hello all and congratulations to @Pat E and OH, what a lovely photo. I should remember your Anniversary as it's the same day as my birthday! Not doing anything special as we have a lot of expenses at the moment, just had new curtains made for the extension and they were very pricey! the highlight of the day is to go and find something to hang them on!
It's very warm here still plenty of Sahara dust being thrown around by the wind, and not much rain! I also have bulbs to plant but ground is too hard.

The rain has been very heavy so we didn't stop off in Norwich. Just stopped at Dove's to drop off the verbascums. The Sat Nav in the car the garage lent us was the most obscure Sat Nav I've ever used so we had to come back by the A11 which was full of lane closures and road works. Not easy when the rain is coming down like a curtain.

    Hello all.

    Happy 50th Anniversary @Pat E - lovely picture ❤️

    Happy Birthday @floralies 🎂

I hope everyone is doing ok.

What’s a chore that you hate doing? I’m cleaning the oven this afternoon and that’s pretty loathsome.

Happy birthday, Floralies! This mornings rain has stopped, and it’s a lovely blue sky now. I expect OH will tempt me to a walk up and down the lane after he has fed me lunch! I did another test this morning, still positive, but I’m not really surprised. The line was much fainter but I don’t know if that was because it was a different batch ( nose and throat ) while the previous one was the nose only type. Looks like I will be in the guest wing for a bit longer.
There is a lovely view of part of the garden we don’t see directly from the living room and kitchen. Quite worrying to see several baby trees, oak, conifer, beech and silver birch, poking their heads above the brambles on a near vertical slope. Several rhododendron ponticum to add to the mix. Not looking forward to trying to deal with that lot. Maybe I should just draw the curtain!
