Interesting Marlorena, thanks. It was the lack of potassium that intrigued me since that’s nowhere near as prone to leaching as highly mobile nitrogen, although I see how high rainfall would accelerate that. You’ve clearly got your fertiliser regime right though, since your roses always look fabulous.

I did a scraping and there is still some green in the left-hand cane but I really don’t think it’s long for this world. Yes, from TCL @newbie77 so I’ll drop them an email and see what they say.

@WhereAreMySecateurs that’s a shame TW have switched to DPD, it was the Spanish subsidiary of DPD that lost me my German rose order.

I’ve emailed TCL re Versigny and await a reply, but having checked their website meanwhile, it is of course out of stock now!! If they can’t get me a replacement, I’m sorely tempted to order one direct from Roses Guillot.

Huge rose from Trevor..   I like DPD, and APC too, they are my preferred couriers, in fact I'm now reluctant to buy from a nursery that doesn't use either of these two.
I have had a rose go missing before from TW but it's rare..

Hope you get it sorted, it's so disappointing when this happens..

Thanks for the Beales discount Ross..

It'll turn up. I love APC, too... might send TW a note mentioning the fact. And I should just be grateful they aren't using Hermes like DA lol. Thanks!
  • To be honest I haven't had a problem with Hermes delivery or collection,  maybe it's just we have a good courier

Welling Roses have 10% off all their bareroots, which makes all of these £9. I got John Paul II from them a few weeks ago. Here's the remaining stocklist- they have some unusual ones- and contact details if anyone is interested.

They did have Eisvogel, Fisherman's Friend and some others previously but sold now, I suppose. You can place orders through Facebook or the above contacts.
