Yes the scent is beautiful @cooldoc
  • Has anyone any experience of Roald Dahl? I quite like it and I’ve a spot where I’d like to put a good bushy rose outside my shed. I like his red buds and how they change through to those lovely apricot flowers.

The spot has conditions that can vary alot. Full sun in the morning to dappled shade in the afternoon to full shade in the evening. The grass that’s currently there can dry out in hot dry spells like last July, but normally isn’t bad. It’s rudely healthy at the moment even though it was almost dead last august.

there is a concrete shed base and a hedge nearby.
