    @Alfie__ Cottage Memories is hugely recommended on FB but I haven't figured out how to browse their catalogue

    At the top of the page you need the drop down menu that says Our Shops and choose Rose WAMS. Ignore or just click to remove the pop ups. If this isn't what you mean I apologise :) Yes I agree Cottage Memories is good and the roses great value (once you are paying the delivery charge anyway) £9 a rose!
    I don't know those Alfie, sorry, apart from AbFab, which is.
    Edit: delivery is £4.65

    @Tack - I think £4.65 is for one rose only. I have 8 in my basket and it says it’s £10 total for delivery. So works out at £10.25 a bare root including delivery which is very good.

    Interesting, you are quite right Alfie. I've had a play as the delivery prices are not listed where I could find them. 1-2 roses is £4.65, 3-6 roses is £6.75 and after that £10. All good value

    Ah well done, thanks. Yeh initially I was the same as you and thought because they are £9 it would be per rose.

    @Woodgreen
    ..thanks, glad you liked it..

    @Alfie_
    I should add, I've also had Comte de Chambord.. good blooming but a blackspotter for me by August, when it defoliated.. others may differ in experience on that..
    For old fashioned roses that flower just once, for about 6 weeks, I recommend 'Ispahan' and 'Queen Of Denmark'..
    'Charles de Mills' I've always been iffy about... it will sucker eventually, may take a few years, and it's also capable of layering itself if branches touch the soil.. it's aim is to form a thicket of itself over time.. but some will have no problems, just depends..

    @Marlorena - thanks those Lovely Parfuma blooms look amazing. How do you find other Kordes roses compare to your Lions FT as I know you have one? My LF blooms prolifically with exceptional health, do you find L Parfuma to do the same? Do you have any other Kordes roses?

    Ah that Queen of Denmark looks like my kind of rose. Would love to see any pictures you have of it?
  • It depends on the type of rose. Some types such as red eden climbing rose, pink eden climbing rose or other easy to grow rose. There is no need to put too many cares in winter. However, if your zone has big snow in winter, you need to consider some care measures to protect. If your zone has a bit cold in winter, and there is not too many snow and frost, you don't need to be too worry.
