@Marlorena is that new to your collection? look at those huge roots from TW.. was wondering why I have not heard about it in my searches.. apparently both TW and PB class them in the medium fragrant class.. and I always add fragrance to the search filter... DA seems to have labelled it as 'strong'.. will wait for your report on that..
was that from a Garden centre @Mr. Vine Eye I had paid much more for 200L.. it was Westands Shrubs & roses compost...
Hi all Are we still in the dormant season here in the UK, and is it still ok to dig up and move a couple of my established roses as most of them are showing signs of new growth. Many thanks.
@peteS Hi Pete, long time, no see. Yes not too late, but as it's been so mild for many of us, I'd be wanting to do that within the next 2 weeks I think..
A Perfumier wrote of it... ''unique amongst roses.... the astonishing fragrance of 'Sophie's Perpetual', with a character reminiscent of an expensively perfumed soap''..
Hi @Marlorena...thanks for that. Yes I know, like my roses I also go into a dormant state over the Winter, that's why I always end up so far behind with my jobs to do list.
I’m back everyone! I’ve been travelling for the last six months with patchy internet access.. I’m ready to get stuck in to my balcony garden and allotment again this coming season!
That is a real bargain! I’m looking at paying double that amount for 800 litres here! (Plus another 20 quid for delivery) yikes!
@m@Marlorena ‘Sophie’s perpetual’ sounds like a dream.. not sure what to make of the description of the perfume though.. soapy fragrance isn’t exactly what I have in mind of a desirable scent..? I look forward to hearing your review in summer
@celcius_kkw heya !.. great to see you back... yes soapy may not be to everybody's taste.. looking forward to seeing your fine roses again.. hope you enjoyed your travels..

Lady of the Lake taking off... so vigorous..
Tempted by "Savoy Hotel" on Peter Beales's site as they say the scent is "outstanding" but I don't think I really need another pink like that. 🤔🤷♀️
@celcius_kkw 6 months of travel.. wow.. that's something..
