    @newbie77 I am searching for aphids in pics and yours look spotless.. I am beginning to wonder that I get swarmed more than usual as there are not many food sources nearby..

    @Nollie

    Purchases from September are;

    Rose de Rescht
    Louis XIV
    La France
    Gertrude Jekyll
    William Shakespeare
    Grossherzogin Luise
    Rosomane Janon
    Julio Iglesias
    Charles de Nervaux
    Sweet Delight
    Thierry Marx
    Huddersfield Choral Society
    Crazy Fashion
    Pacific Blue
    Tropicana

    Did not realise I purchased so many.. :# Few of the last year ones were replaced...

    @Busy-Lizzie how is the growth on your Louise Odier..? I saw two buds on mine already.. not that they will produce any significant bloom this early.. but was surprised how quickly that one produced buds..

    @newbie77 Nice looking roses you have there and they are way ahead with their spring growth; also pots regularly arranged :-)

    All, glad to see so many new additions to your garden; happy to enjoy these roses vicariously!

    And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)

    Enjoying the new rose lists. I am feeling like buying something but my summer plan has set me back a bit.
    I am thinking may be I will dig out island beds in shaded area of garden and plant out all pots. Anyway it is still cold and I have some time to think about it. Looked at automatic watering system but in heat the joins in pipes leak or get separated with water pressure. Also fox and cats come and disturb hose. So I am concerned about leaving tap on with all setup when I am away.
    Anyway worst case it will give me chance to buy new roses next winter.

    @cooldoc, there are not many aphids in this garden. There was a lot more in my previous garden.

    @Tack lol... "Hippie Fashion" is such a terrible name in particular. I really like the look of that and "Designer Sunset" and "Trendy Fashion"... but the names!
