I am an unashamed 'tool fanatic'. Not in the sense that I have lots of them, but I am particular in what I have.
Diggy tools are always washed after use and I tend to go for Burgon & Balls. Their Transplant/Rabbit spade is invaluable for, well transplanting! I would not be without their Perennial spade either.
Secateurs are Niwaki, like @zugenie - I always get yellow versions of things that Agatha the unhelper will run off with: Secateurs, trugs, &c, makes for easy findings. I use the camellia oil too. I like @Mr. Vine Eye sharpening tool - adding that to the list. The worst is loosing my glasses, once had three days being as blind as a bat till they turned up in the compost heap. I knew who to blame.
@Marlorena, that pink rose was beautiful. I am not sure I would have been able to do the deed and get rid of it.
Only one camellia here, and it is in the shadow of the house so never gets sun after frost and it has flowered every year for the past 30 years. No idea of the name, just a pink one. I note your comments on the white ones.
So windy! Lady of the lake has blown free from her moorings. But not too badly. Position the canes have ended up in she's best left and retied when the wind's died down.
I’ve tried many a brand of forks and spades over the years but Bulldog is the only one that I don’t mangle due to both my carelessness and my heavy, rocky clay soil. Hand tools have to cheap and replaceable, more so now because of the pup half inching them. @PeterAberdeen I’m myopically peering at everything using an old pair of glasses at the moment because said pup got my new prescription, very expensive ones and crunched them. I think Smudge and Agatha would get on very well 😃

which, at the rate they are going, may even be enough to procure one of their new bare root releases... I did it anyway, as it's still summat for nowt really
Beautiful, @Marlorena and @Mr. Vine Eye . Love that rose so much. Mine goes bright, bright yellow in the sun, and almost red in the cold, but never that lovely pink, sadly. It's still my favourite DA, though.
Lovely roses, I'm slowly coming round to orange roses, after only having pink, cream and white ones, and two dark red ones. Started with an apricot peachy one and looking forward eagerly to my new GdF which has lovely new shoots.
My new Strawberry Hill also looks promising. Will pick up more Rose Food at the GC later this morning on the way out for lunch.
