@WAMS Yes, they have, thankfully. A bit late, I have only received the refund today actually. Royal Mail should have really taken the responsibility for this, but they have only apologised and promised to look into it.
Lovely roses everyone, feels like summer again seeing all the photos.
@newbie77 I also have lots of houseplants. It’s a pity the houseplant thread is not more popular.
The spot has conditions that can vary alot. Full sun in the morning to dappled shade in the afternoon to full shade in the evening.
@ciaranmcgrenera that’s exactly like the location of my RD in a pot. Minimal crisping of the flowers — this was it in mid July last year, in the middle of the heatwave.
This is Westerland in Peter Beales Classic Roses gardens in Norfolk, 20 minutes from us. Having seen it I had to have it!
I showed you photos from David Austin so it's only fair that I show you photos from Peter Beales. The thing I really like is the use of companion planting. They use a lot of perennials in the borders mixed in with the roses.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Marlorena, I too get that deep centres in BMS, still not convinced that she is not yellow.. as the apricot shade is gone in 1 or 2 days..
wonderful pics @Busy-Lizzie a bit too far for me to travel.. Travelling would be easy.. it's convincing my OH and kids which will be difficult.. yes we need to appreciate the perennial/ annual planting which makes the roses pop.. probably make them healthy as well..

Lady of Shalott - just because she’s my favourite by far of this colour.
Miniature SunTan
Orange Meilove (the most underphotographed rose in my garden)

'Bring Me Sunshine'..
...moving on..
'Forever Royal'.. makes a nice contrast to the above..
Lovely...probably the best way to grow it to see the blooms. Can't see many thorns either, mine is viciously thorny.
That Meilove is so vibrant..
