    Good morning all.
OH and I are much better now after our bout of sickness. Did feel a little sick yesterday but it passed quick enough.
It was Oh's birthday last week so we went to a garden centre and got some nice plants, a blood red and pure white cyclamen and some other bits and bobs. Nice quiet day and Oh enjoyed himself.
23 is coming this afternoon and is sleeping overnight. Plenty of play is forecast methinks!
Our front garden is looking much greener already after its very first ever feed, a few weeks ago. With the rain we've had, and have this morning, it is doing it good and looking much better. It's riddled with weeds though, and is uneven and lumpy so next year is the year to sort it out. We are going to make a start of getting rid of some of the grass just now, as the ground slopes away , down to under the window and the grass is awful there. So we plan to take it out and cover with gravel, linking it up with the driveway.
I hope everyone is doing well, those who are away I hope they having a wonderful time, and a wave ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿ‘‹ to @star gaze lily and @Chivetalking just in case they are looking in.
    Have a good weekend everyone.

    Morning all,

Very Marti overnight but it is brightening up now. Just watched our grey squirrel hard at work burying and unearthing stuff in the back lawn. Shame he doesn't take the cat **** off it. Might be a struggle to keep it looking as immaculate as it was when it was laid in the summer.

Need to do some preparation work over the weekend. Due to be workmen around next week so all the pots are going out of the way of any clumsy feet ;) Completely clearing down the side of the house so that should keep me out of mischief.

@Biglad, think your squirrel was at my mums last week as it was doing exactly the same , digging all over the lawn, preening, up on hind legs on watch-out, resuming digging and running all over the grass.

    Afternoon everybody.

Hazel, I'm so glad that you both are better. Have a nice time with 23.

I finally have my computer ready for work. I'm feeling like human again, because I'm really not used to work on tablet. My colleague done it really fast, and only payment she wants is baked goods. This morning I made cinnamon rolls and apple strudel for her.
We still have Indian summer and it will last at least till end of the month.
Now is time for book and rest.ย

    Have a nice afternoon and see you later.ย  ย  ย  ย

    Hello all.ย

I joined the clean up the village group this morning, but there wasn't much rubbish, it's a clean village. Afterwards we had coffee and bacon rolls on the village green which gave me a chance to meet some people here.

    Hair cut this afternoon.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
