    Morning all,

Had quite a busy weekend but none of it involved any gardening  :o

Thundery showers and light winds are what the BBC is forecasting for us today. We shall see!

    Morning @Ante1 @Rubee and @Biglad
Sorry Ante you weren't there just now. Enjoy relaxing on the balcony.

It's getting hotter by the minute, I'm going to do a few unmentionables and then not a lot for the rest of the day.

Morning Ante, SGL, Ruby and Biglad. Resting on the balcony sounds like a good plan Ante. SGL, love that cartoon. I wonder how you relax in a shower though

Think I'd just sit on the floor of the shower and let the water run for awhile......oops no we can't, there's a water shortage 🤦‍♀️😉

Morning all. We're back from our short trip to the campsite. Incredibly hot but it was lovely to just lie in the shade reading and eating ice lollies and occasionally flopping into the pool for a cool down. We weren't too far from Duxford and were treated to a little display from a spitfire flying around on Saturday. Presumably there was an event on at the museum this weekend.

Forecast to be nearly 30C here again today but it is overcast so doesn't feel too bad. No prospect of rain today and just a 40% chance of a brief shower tomorrow😢. Will this dry spell ever break???

Debs - I love little Maisie's response to spilling the water. She's one smart cookie! I've forgotten how old she is. Six going on sixteen maybe?
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

BBC forecast for today has now changed. The thundery showers have disappeared to be replaced by "Light cloud and a gentle breeze". I'll probably end up watering the pots under a totally blue sky this evening :o

    Hello all.

It's a bank holiday in France today.

As it's a lot cooler I've spent 3 hours gardening. The garden is beautifully damp. Cool enough to wear practical jeans and tee shirt. Still felt hot by the time I finished so had a shower. Back in a summer dress. It's not really cool, just a nice summer day with some clouds, some sun and a little breeze, such a relief after the temps in the high 30s. Just looked, 24°.
