Thank you  LB, it's easing quite quickly.
Aww, yes. Bet Hazel  had a lovely  time with 23.

Haven't seen the news about the fire LB. Do hope it's no where near Ante.

Good morning all. Busy day at work yesterday but looking forward to seeing friends at my sisters house today. Nibbles and wine and lots of chat should be a lovely afternoon.

Good morning Busy, Biglad and Debs.
Goodness Busy, I agree with your thoughts - it does seem rather irresponsible to have fireworks when the country is so tinder dry. Have a lovely day with your family gathering for the first Holy Communion day of your Grandson. Lots of happy chatter I bet!
Debs I hope that your 'gathering' today is full of happy chatter too.
Biglad yes, cool as! Blackbirds are cheeky beggars when it comes to our berries. Its always a question of who gets there first!

Morning, @Busy-Lizzie @Biglad sorry I didn't see either of you when I posted just now. Morning @debs64 and @Rubee too.
We had thunder storms forecast for Wednesday, but that's disappeared here too.
@debs64 have a lovely afternoon with your friends.
@Rubee hope Rosie is feeling better now.

    Good morning to all.

LB, thank you for concern, but I'm on safe. Few days ago in south Croatia was a huge fire and many houses and smallholding are burned. Luckily, no casualties. It's very dry and hot, so it was unavoidable.

Here is still very warm and windy. I have my tea and after lunch must go to cottage. One more watering round is waiting for me.

    Have a lovely Sunday!

    Good Morning everyone,
LB Sounds like you’ve had a nice amount of rainfall overnight to refresh the ground, I like that smell too ☺️
SGL Hopefully you’ve caught up on some sleep from the early starts you’ve had, no I didn’t get an ice cream but it was very tempting 😊
Busy Enjoy your family gathering today for grandsons first holy communion a happy occasion,
Biglad Hope you manage to get a few of those blueberries for yourself 🙂
Debs Have a good chat with sister & friends later, wine & nibbles will go down well after a busy day at work yesterday,
Rubee Hope your garden is fairing well with the sun,
Ante Glad to hear you are out of danger from the fires it must be awful, hope all is doing well at the cottage,
Hope Hazel & OH had a lovely fun time with 23 last night 🤗

Good morning Ruby, Ante and Chive. I've just had a walk up to the post box and it is quite nice out there but getting warmer. My next door neighbour was cutting her grass. She says that her daughter doesn't like the feel of long grass under her feet. Tickles!
Ruby, I would like to think that the rain will have benefitted my garden but to be honest I don't think it was quite enough. Not to worry. Plants will either survive or not.
Ante, I am so pleased that you are safe where you are. Heard from my Sis and BIL this morning - they were having coffee at the local market but she said it was hot and the only exercise she will be doing is swimming.
Chive, sorry I forgot to answer your question the other day. Yes the horse/mares tail wrangling goes one (only been 30 years now ). Tut its so annoying when things won't take the hint that they are unwanted. I don't get aggravated by it though. Wrangling that is cheaper than paying gym fees.

Chive, meant to say, I noticed a few bees and hoverflies round my buddlejas yesterday but still no butterflies.
