    Evening all,

It's dried up here and the wind has died down somewhat. I put some extra support out front so fingers crossed.

The gardeners for one of the neighbours have just finished trimming their hedge. Bit noisy for my liking at this hour when I'm trying to watch TV :oย

No netting for the blueberries yet, @Ladybird4. The blackbirds seem to be concentrating on the overripe berries that I didn't manage to harvest on the Draper, which they are welcome to. As long as they don't start on the masses of green fruit currently on the Aurora, I'm happy to share ;)ย

I finished stacking the logs on Sunday before I went to lunch with Son2. But log man brought another load this morning to stack in the small barn. Should be plenty for winter now. I will start stacking again tomorrow morning, was too hot today.ย

I was feeling rather low this afternoon so I went to a GC and bought 3 osteospermums to cheer me up.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Iโ€™m so sorry to hear you were feeling low @Busy-Lizzie understandable given the situation, a little plant retail therapy was absolutely necessary under the circumstances. Glad you wasnโ€™t stacking logs today, hope things start looking up soon ๐Ÿ™‚

A very good morning one and all.
Busy, I was so sorry to hear that you felt low yesterday, though I am not altogether surprised after the news of your OH. Those osteospermums will help bring a smile to your face. Its funny how any daisy-like flower can have that effect - well it does me anyway.

Hello there Chive. It is raining - enough said . I am making a SM dash this morning as well. It is August 3rd and there SHOULD be Lily's treats in store today. I am just adding to my 'wanted' list.
