    @Plantminded
    ..that's really lovely I must say, beautifully tended and I like the retaining wall very much..

    .. Nice to have a Molinia, I used to have one called 'Karl Foerster', gives a light, airy effect... I think 'Transparent' is better known..

    @Marlorena I also have Molinia' The Rocket' which is slightly smaller in my soil and more delicate.It is at it's best in Autumn when the whole plant is a golden yellow.

    The Autumn colour of M Transparent is a more patchy green/yellow before it too turns a golden yellow as Autumn progresses.

    @Wrigs21 I love how your steps guide up, have you got a Secret Garden up there? On GW yesterday Carol Kliene visited a garden with exactly the same colour tones it made me really stop and look. They were colours that I had not thought of together, your garden made me think of those colours.

    Thank you. House sits at the top so it’s a steep garden sloping down. Stuck the terracing in and planted last year so slightly more luck rather than judgement! Mix in a few oranges further down

    @Marlorena I am suprised but pleased to see your Lythrum doing so well. I have never grown it as I always thought it needed a retentive soil?
