    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
    Great pics @Pat E  😊
We had a really loud storm about 1am and heavy rain for about half an hour.  It’s fine now with hazy cloud … 21C seems a lot more comfortable… hopefully the worst of the heat is over.

Much more comfortable here, but sadly no rain.  Citizens Advice today - looking forward to being out of the house for a change 😂.  However much stitching has been done and I’ve nearly finished my book 📕

Hope @Pat E has warmed up a bit.  Mr C”s cousin in Brisbane phoned the other day - its been so wet that they can’t keep their house from growing mould, and she would have to pay $12 if she wanted a lettuce.  Climate change is going to be a challenge for us all.

    Morning all.

We had a huge storm in the night, needn't have done any watering yesterday. At least it has shown that there isn't a leak in the dining room roof. I've polished the table several times and the water traces from the hail storm leak have gone. There was a power cut but the leccy was on when we woke this morning.

My daughter was born in March '76 @WonkyWomble. I bought a rectangular paddling pool and I used to lie in it with her to keep cool.

We are going to the SM today, need groceries.

    Hi all

Cooler today and a bit of a breeze.
Terrible nights sleep, so feel like a bit of a zombie, have been doing some watering, but that will be the limit of todays endeavours.

No sea view this morning, but gloriously cool. After two days at home sweltering, we will have a walk at the Donkey sanctuary, and then I will have another go at the flower bed when we get home. Another sticky night last night, with the fan on a high setting, but managed to sleep relatively well.

Sounds like we all had a hot and uncomfortable night.   Some plants arrived this morning - the GC didn't have the aster I wanted to I crossed my fingers and ordered online - along with a coreopsis.  They were well packaged and look healthy.  Jackson's nurseries - so recommended.
    Lovely pics @Pat E.
Have a good rest today @Nanny Beach
I will be going about my tasks in a measured and slow way today.
