Afternoon everyone, the sun stayed long enough today for son to cut the grass. He was back inside drinking a well earned cup of coffee ☕ and a big slice of cake before the rain started. It's now sunny again.
I must be the only one on here that won't be watching the tennis🎾  not a fan, sorry everyone.
@Ante1 I've seen your beautiful photos too. You've worked so hard, it's amazing how much you've done.

LB Enjoy watching the tennis, hope you’ve got your front row seat reserved,
Good to see you SGL, glad you had a nice day at youngest sons yesterday and will have his help with the lawn today,
Ante Hope you are enjoying a relax today, sounds too warm for much  activity,
Rubee Glad you’ve got your armchair & tea delivery booked for the next two weeks 😊
Busy Pleased you are feeling on the mend, take things steady a little at a time,
Hazel Lovely for you to see pictures of the family all enjoying their holiday, sounds like 23 is having a wonderful time. Hope the arch’s stay in place,
Rosie You sound ready to enjoy the tennis, hope you’re settled down now,

Hi all. I am responsible for the rain. I have got 2 weeks off work and had planned to spend them in the garden.

    I'm sure you aren't the only one , @Pauline 7

We've swept the patio and Oh has washed the chairs and table so we can have dinner outside this evening.

@star gaze lily I don't watch the tennis either.

    Afternoon all.

Pauline, send some rain to me please. I would love at least one good summer shower.

Hazel, thank you. Hope that wind didn't do much damage, sorry for Clemie.

Chive, wish your son a safe flight to Greece. Prepare him for boiling temperatures. Our part of world is under extreme heat wave which will last till Saturday.

Thank you SGL. I'm glad that you had a lovely time with son, and cake of course. 😁

I'm just resting and try to do nothing. We made yesterday a wonderful and refreshing elderflower juice. Excellent drink when is so hot outside. I still refuse to use air condition, because I didn't felt well few days ago, when I came out from cooled school outside.

    Good afternoon all.
Hazel, what fun to see all the family pictures from their holiday. It is lovely to hear all about 23 and his antics. My brother and sister-in-law have got one of those cctv cameras that ping their mobiles whenever anyone approaches their doors. It took them a while to adjust it as it was pinging every time people walked down the street passed the house but I think they have it sorted now.
Busy, I seem to remember you telling us that you were leaving all of the DIY stuff for your OH to sort out so it will be nice to have that task done.
Hey SGL, no need to apologise for not watching the tennis. Everyone has their own interests. I must be honest and say that watching all this sport today = because of the pesky rain - makes it feel like a Saturday! Hope I don't wake up tomorrow and wonder where the week has gone!
Chive, its a good job you were able to get your son sorted out for his trip to Greece. I'll bet that they have a fantastic time.
Rosie, I hope that you are enjoying the tennis. Watching Emma Raducanu's match at the moment.
Hello there Pauline - good to see you. How lovely to have that two week break and I hope that you manage to get into your garden.
Ante, sometimes I feel a bit strange after being in air conditioning - like my lungs are dry. I use a fan to move the air around and find that is good on hot, sticky days.

    Evening Everyone,
Sorry SGL just missed your post earlier, sounds like your lawn was cut just in time and coffee & cake thoroughly enjoyed 😋 I don’t follow tennis either,
Oh Pauline how typical! hopefully the forecast will improve for you to enjoy the garden during your time off work 🤞
Busy Dinner al fresco will be lovely, enjoy your evening together,
Ante Thank you yes I certainly will make sure he is well prepared for the heat 👍 Hope you feel better now and more rested,
LB We seem to have everything in order 🤞 it’s been more nerve wracking getting him ready for a holiday than ourselves 😅 Enjoy the programme tonight,

    Glad I'm not alone @Busy-Lizzie and @Chivetalking 🎾🎾
It was lovely seeing youngest son and so grateful of the help in the garden. @wfnp5bk4spsSNFYKh1 and @Ante1
@Songbird-1 think BB1 programmes are disrupted for the next couple of weeks while Wimbledon is on.
You could watch the beginning of Sherwood on catch up.  Do you just Google Gardeners world Hazel, not really sure.
@Chivetalking hope your son has a great holiday with his friends. And no hiccups at the airport.  I expect although you want him to enjoy his time in Greece,  you'll be glad when the holiday is over and he is back home😉 😉

Night night everyone. Sleep well and sweet dreams
