Good morning Ante. Wow that is hot! It is 13°C here. I like watching Wimbledon too and if it carries on raining I will have a good excuse to stay in!

    Morning all.

After a week of rain the sun is shining. I hope we are feeling well enough to make a start on the garden, so much clearing up to do. My nose isn't bunged up anymore. It's 16C at the moment.

    Lovely plant photos LB.

Morning @Ante1 @Ladybird4 and all to follow.
Sunshine here, do hope it stays all day, youngest son is coming round this afternoon to cut the grass at the last part of the garden......I can get so far with the hover mower with extension lead, but the last 60/70 feet OH usually does with the petrol mower. Its too heavy for me. We've  tried to get a gardener, but they don't even turn up to give us a quote.  When chatting last week to the boys, they told me off 😉😁 and said not to get anyone they would do it.......I thought of you @Biglad 😉
I can cope with most of the gardening, but the grass area is too much for me.
Lovely photos LB thank you for sharing.  Hope you get some sunshine.....although I know you enjoy Wimbledon 😉 🎾🎾
@Ante1 that's very hot already. Enjoy your day.

    Morning all,

Finally got rain. All the stuff forecast passed us by last week - no thunderstorms and very little rainfall. Delighted not to think about what is wilting in a pot for the day. Of course it coincides with Wimbledon :D

Good morning Busy, Ruby, SGL and Biglad.
Busy just take things gently today - it does seem as if you are now on the road to recovery.
Ruby, it could be couch potato fortnight couldn't it. I did love the cricket highlights as well last night and today could see a Test Match whitewash for New Zealand. Come on England!
SGL, it must have really cheered you that your sons are stepping up to help with the bottom end of the garden.
Thank you all for the kind comments about my plants - thank you Mother Nature!
Biglad, I was pleased to see the cessation of the wind and the rainfall - saves me a job today.

Lily I’m glad you’re okay and it will have been good for you to see your youngest son.  Ante yes I’m looking forward to the tennis fortnight too.  Perfect for all while it’s raining.  LB I was a late starter this morning but have made a late lunch and watching the tennis after some h*******k.  Hazel it will be lovely keeping up to date with the family’s holiday pics.  Biglad no thunderstorms here either and just a little rain.  I’ve been out and watered the pots.

I've pruned and tied up the grapevine which was falling all over the up and over garage door which is now the entance to the workshop since the garage renovation. I've raked up the battered leaves and bits of branch outside the door. Should be ready for OH to start his clear out and unpacking of the DIY stuff tomorrow.

Just had a long lunch break as was tired after that.
