Chive, blame me for making that comment about Rosie (I'm a twonk!). I saw last night's post and though it was this morning's. I think all these bad night's of poor sleep are to blame, tee hee. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it! Wait until you hear this though. I've made a quick dash to 'sco this morning fully intending to put my nephew's wedding anniversary card in their post box. I got home and there it was at the bottom of the stairs laughing at me! Walked up the Lane to the post box there. What else could go wrong today I wonder? Its lovely outside so gardening is on the cards.
I guess Lily does consider eating an activity - after all she had to come downstairs to her bowl!
Hazel I have all my upstairs windows open all the time during warm weather - on that little security gap you can lock into. Its nice to feel the fresh air. They are most definitely all locked tight during cold weather.

    Morning all,

This afternoon/evening/night/tomorrow morning :o I'm going to a birthday bash in a garden that I have had a hand in maintaining. I suspect I may be the oldest there but will try hard to find an even older specimen to converse with amongst the 50+ guests :D I'll need somebody who can't get away to quickly when I start boring them with tales of growing and eating my first loganberry yesterday ;)

Can you stay on your cruise for a few months longer @Topbird if I start a whip round amongst the Rezzers?

    Good afternoon all.
Biglad, I am sure that you will enjoy the birthday bash - whether you find a venerable ancient or not. Weather has been iffy here - some heavy rain with rumbles (puny ones) of thunder and some sunny spells. Like Hazel, the wind was pretty full on as well making the bottom half of my garden look as if it's covered in snow with all the rose petals that have been scattered. I looked like I had giant dandruff when I came in.
Hazel, sorry to hear of the damage and fingers crossed for a good crop of foxgloves from your sowings.

  • LB glad to hear Lily is enjoying sleeping and lounging at home.  Chive it’s good to hear mum is more comfortable and well looked after.  Top bird you’ll be sad to come to the end of your amazing cruise but great memories.  Busy I hope you can rest further and eat well.  Lily and oh hope you’ve been relaxing in the garden.  Hazel hope you and oh had a rest.  I’ve caught up on some sleep and baked some bread.

Evening all,  Sounds like you've had a fabulous trip @Topbird The photos have been fantastic.  I've been to see Secondborn's new house today.  She did some measuring up and the vendor explained what she was panning on leaving and what she was looking to sell.  It will be a lovely home for Secondborn and the boys.  Lots of space and a really nice garden.  I'm just hoping that everything goes OK now.

Good morning everybody. Has anyone noticed the night's drawing in yet? Only joking. I was looking at Monty's garden - and the viewers gardens - and they all seem to be burgeoning with flowers whilst my garden is full of mostly greenery with promises of things to come. Next year by the looks of things!
Hazel - it is super windy here so hope its quieter where you are.
Yvie, the house for your Secondborn sounds just the job and she will be itching to put her own stamp on it.
