I’ve just come up to bed and found a load of cockchafers headbutting the bedroom window … they’d better take care … the bats are out and about …

How long married @Hostafan1?  My husband and I were together for 7 years before we got married - the 7 year hitch!
We called them plimsolls in Bucks.
Off in a bit to do the plant stall in town but already tired after a sleepless night.  I was just drifting off when I heard a noise like the power going off and all the lights going out.  But it was all in my head - the lights were all off anyway of course, it was the middle of the night.

Good morning @didyw 😊 it’s a gorgeous morning. The app says we have thick fog 😵‍💫 but all I can see is bright blue sky and sunshine!

There was a mist over the marshes around Fen Farm here but it's clearing as the sun comes out.  I think it's going to be a fine day and we shan't have the thunderstorms/rain forecast for elsewhere in the region.  Fingers crossed.  But it can rain tonight if it likes!

    Good morning all.

I'm still feverish and bunged up but had a couple of hours last night feeling a lot better, managed to eat diner. But not feeling very well at the moment.

My lovely French neighbour, Annie, rang to ask if we are OK after the hail storm. She's going to do some shopping for us as we have to isolate. We had planned to stop at the SM on our way home on Tuesday, but couldn't because of my Covid.

Hello everyone. Today was much better. I ended up with a raging headache last night.

Pixel was much better behaved today and I’ve got a few gardening jobs done as well as a bit of washing. I lifted some parsley plants and potted them on and into the covered shade house, since they haven’t enjoyed being frozen every night lately.

Bathroom mats got a good wash as well. Not before time. 🙄

Town day tomorrow - Hubby to see his Oncologist and both of us to do our weekly shop.
    Congrats to Hosta and Hubby.

Indeed!  I watered thoroughly yesterday morning but the veg patch was bone dry this morning ... all the veg have had a thorough soaking, as have the sweet peas, the Type 3 clems and all the recently planted perennials, and everything in containers ... fig, bay, euphorbia mellifera, agapanthus, dahlias, cucumbers, etc etc etc ......... oh, and all the hostas of course.

I'm having a coffee now, and then I'll go and give OH's blueberries a good hearty drink, as he left for work before 8 this morning and I'm not expecting him back until 6ish.  He's got a few long days coming up.  Hopefully we will get the water butts topped up very soon.

So glad you have a good neighbour @Busy-Lizzie ...they're worth their weight in gold ...  you were quite isolated at your last house weren't you ........... and glad you're feeling a bit better ... but at the risk of repeating myself, please don't do too much.  ((hugs))

Glad Pixel is on her best behaviour @Pat E 👍 Hopefully she's learning that life outside has it's complications.
