To be so disparaging of other people's opinions, says quite a lot IMO.
I have huge respect for the Queen, and one or two others, but I'm not remotely interested in the 3 ring circus that's been going on for days all over the media. Is that deserving of being described as disgusting? I don't think so. Ignore button is probably a good idea.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

For those who would prefer a Republic, look at what we might have had as Presidents! President Boris or President Blair. The thought of either makes me shudder.
But at least you would have elected them and can get rid of them at the ballot box. Not so the Monarchy!

But the monarchy has no power … all it can do is advise … and heaven knows someone needs to do that.
Boris keeps saying he has a mandate from the electorate … the monarchy can’t say that … UK monarchs know that if they displease the populace they’re on thin ice indeed … look at the public reaction when Diana died and how the Queen had to adapt.
Boris has been fined for lawbreaking and still won’t change … because he has a mandate and some Tories are either so stupid or so smitten with his Eaton bluster that they still think he’s what makes them electable.

Quite frankly, I'm disgusted by the results of the poll above (not surprised but still disgusted) we live in a Constitutional Monarchy and long may it continue - anyone who objects should never be allowed to buy a Lotto ticket ( that's if you think the Queen is lucky to find herself in the job!)
I shudder to think of a "democratically" elected Head of State - isn't bonkers Boris enough? How about Trump? I seem to remember that Hitler was voted in by genuine landslides.
I don't understand why you would be disgusted by the results of a poll on this forum. Are you suggesting that people with a different viewpoint are somehow contemptible and should be ignored ? You say you aren't surprised by the results which I take to mean that you were aware that others may not follow your particular train of thought and therefore expected to see opposing views being expressed? That being the case, why be so disparaging when the posts appeared ? Perhaps I'm being a bit thick but what on earth does buying a lottery ticket have to do with a monarchial system ? I've never bought a lottery ticket in my life - indeed I find the prize money on many of these schemes to be totally obscene but I certainly wouldn't assume those who do buy them to be anti monarchist.
As a general observation and somewhat TIC , I haven't chosen to watch the endless Jubilee stuff, but it has been impossible to avoid it whilst watching/listening to the news. The one thing that did strike me were those who had chosen to wander around with large plates fixed at an angle on their heads. Perhaps an instinctive ploy to make the executioner's job slightly more difficult
Marginally better than the toilet seat that Andrew's daughter wore to William's wedding.
Can't remember that far back but on the topic of royal offspring, there was a brief mention ( on the "news" ) of a Prince Louis but no explanation for the uninitiated as to who he belonged to. Trying to keep up with who's who in the Royal family is a bit like watching Corrie every so often - they breed faster than locusts and it's virtually impossible to work out which child belongs to which family. I wonder when the younger royals will cotton on to the possibility of financial reward by becoming a Soap Opera to keep us all agog. I'd vote for Lilibet to become the Buckingham Arms landlady Poor child to be lumbered with such a name - on a par with Stargazer and Wanderlust. Apologies - bad mood as you can probably guess

I do find that argument odd, because you can just as easily cite negative examples of incredibly bad heads of state who were undemocratically selected. But of course, they can never be voted out.

The honours system is a corrupt cesspit at the base of the establishment. The Queen can give you a minimum of £1500 a week if they make you a Lord, and i'm sure making you a Sir opens a few doors.
