Morning Rosie. Tea and cereals to hand here - as I watch the rain which started last night.
Ante, I wonder why this picture made me think of you!
Good morning everyone.
Yvie, have a great time this morning and enjoy the fun this afternoon.
Hazel, great news you and your OH will have reinforcements for taming the beast! I think swearing is totally justified. Its a ploy I use myself. Doesn't do the job but nonetheless is satisfying.
T'Bird, from now on I will think 'shrooms when I see sheep in the fields.

Morning everyone, Raining again. Thank you @Topbird. @debs64 you were lucky weatherwise to be able to sit in the garden in the evening. It's far too chilly here, almost put the heating on yesterday. Love the snoopy pic @Ladybird4 I've just had diced pear with granola and yogurt for breakfast and I'm on my second cup of tea ☕ Won't be able to get out in the garden again today, grass needs cutting after all the rain. Will take a few days of dry weather before I can though 🤦♀️
Good morning SGL. I am resigning myself to another indoor day today - at least I may be able to work in the GH or garage but, as you said, its quite chilly and that definitely makes motivation wear off!

Good morning everyone. Rosie I hope you are feeling better today .You had a lovely day Debs .So pleased for you . Hope your working day proves to be a good one .Good morning LB . I hope the rain stops shortly so you can have time in your garden. The plants are growing very fast and will need controlling.Lily that sounds like a lovely breakfast .Yesterday was busy . Managed to get to the PO .Then a few things bought in Masda, including a punnet of six lavender plants for five pounds. Popped to the docs for some dressings for OH .We waited ages to be told the script had been sent to the chemist .Went to the chemist ,waited a long time there ,only to be told that OHs dressings weren’t in stock and they would deliver them on Thursday.By the time we got back home we were shattered.Today we are going to the Otley hospital to have a procedure to disperse some of the swelling in OHs legs .It’s a temporary measure which relieves the discomfort .Needs repeating often but there is a waiting list .Right I need tea . Have a good day folks .
Good morning Ruby. How very frustrating for you yesterday. Sometimes you think that the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. I hope that the appointment at the hospital is more straightforward than yesterday's 'pass the parcel'! Right, I better get a wriggle on and read the 'to do' list - which will probably get binned! I hope that you all have super days whatever you have on your 'to do' lists!

Morning - lots of little jobs to do today including loading yet more info into Apps ready for flying. No idea how anyone without a smart phone gets anywhere these days!
Rubee - I do hope the hospital procedure is successful - it will make a big difference for you both if it is. Your pharmacy experience sounds like the sort of stuff going on at my local surgery / dispensary. Very frustrating for those on both sides of the counter.
LB - I'd rather like to paint our new van like the one in your picture....😎
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
I thought I posted yesterday but now seen I didn't. I expect I did on my phone but I keep losing phone posts. I've read back but now there is too much to remember.
I went to tea yesterday afternoon with the village ladies group, first time. They seem a nice bunch and it was in someone's lovely, on the wild side, huge garden.
In the morning we went to the SM.
Today I'm going to a ladies lunch with friends from our old village and OH is going to the pub with a few of the husbands.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Evening All, hope you’ve all had a good day, Rubee I hope the procedure has gone well at the hospital for OH today and they’ve relieved some of the discomfort from the swelling. Hopefully those dressings will arrive promptly for him tomorrow, Been playing with Lily’s TV today and had a run to the SM this afternoon, ready to put my feet up now. Have a nice evening everyone.
Afternoon all. Debs, I am so sorry I missed your post this morning. I hope that today has gone well without any horrid customers. Hazel, I saw that bit on the news today - dreadful!
I'm happy to report that the sun came out and I got into the garden. Green bin is nice and full now ready for tomorrow's collection - mainly Mare's tail. I have a lovely thyme and prostrate rosemary that I have put into two big planters near the back gate. I got the bird feeders filled again after a right scolding from Robbie.
At one stage the back door was open and Lily took up one of her favourite sunny spots on the mat by this door. I was working at the sink when all of a sudden I heard this awful noise. I shot round to the back door and there was another cat! It looked remarkably like Kitty, Jack's cat, I rang him to ask if Kitty was out but there was no reply. I'll try again later. Lily gave it a right bat on the nose and it fled when it saw me. I had to smile at Lily though. She looked like an animated floor mop as every hair was standing on end. She was twice her normal size.
Busy, you are having lots of social occasions which must be so enjoyable. Its nice that your OH has been able to get out to meet up with friends too.
Ruby, I trust all went well with your OH's appointment and that his legs feel more comfortable now.
BTW, the beef and ale casserole was delicious and that tip I picked up online about celery and green pepper to replace onion was spot on.

Chive lovely to put your feet up after your endeavours. LB poor Lily she must have been beside herself. No doubt she’s had a sleep and settled down for the evening. Cooked celery is very nice in a casserole. Glad you enjoyed it. I had bubble and squeak for tea. Wishing everyone a good evening.
