    Hehe @Ladybird4 😉

Glad your brother is happy in his new home.
    Love the snoopy pic.
Sun is shining again now, has been a very overcast day with the odd rainfall. Our weather is bonkers.
@Songbird-1 sounds like a very busy day. Glad you're pleased with the new arch. The clematis will look perfect growing up and over it.
    Have a lovely evening everyone.
  • LB yes great programmes.  Debs enjoy helping your fiancé.  Hazel glad your pleased with the arch, less cumbersome.  Busy 😊.

OH wanted to go out for DIY things so I went to the GC, Bressingham. I wanted a watering lance but they hadn't got one, only a very expensive one. I bought some light blue Lobelia and osteospermums "Purple Sun" for edging and filling in gaps.

Tea time with snoopy Snoopy love Snoopy cartoon Snoopy comics
A very good morning one and all. I've just been down the garden to shoo away some marauding magpies and crows. I know its normal behaviour but I hate them predating on my baby birds. Its dry at the moment but sky looks threatening. Looking forward to gardening again.
Biglad my knee is probably giving out after 20 years of competitive team squash and badminton. Those were the days!
Busy I love the sound of your edging plants. I googled Purple Sun - expecting to see a purple flower - wrong! Gorgeous looking though.
Hazel, I thought you told us you had no room left in your garden  - or is it garden furniture and tools you are looking at?

  • LB a good morning to you and all.  Good to shoo the birds away.very wise.  Alfie’s had a good night and an early breakfast.  I’ve been tidying, the carpet could do with a shampoo, and I’m having some tea.

    Morning everyone,
Sky is very grey here too and there's a slight breeze.  Looks like it could rain any minute.
Aww, shhh 🤫 @bluebellsintherain say that very quietly, Col TT might be listening 😉
@Ladybird4 I was just watching the birds splashing in the bird bath. A wood pigeon has just comondeered it. Keeping my eye on him 😉
Want to play in the garden too at some point, need to sort out a Clematis that needs some help on the trellis.
Need a cup of  tea🍵 🍵  see you in a bit.

Good morning RosieBB and SGL. Its good to hear that Alfie has had a good night.
SGL, I love watching the birds bathing. Some, like the blackbirds, really go for it - the full immersion technique with touches of the whirling dervish. Others like the robin and dunnocks just stand on the edge and flap their wings a bit - pretending they have actually had a bath. Such fun. I've had my tea and cereal so I might go and throw some clothes on ready for the day. I made the mistake of going to bed with slightly damp hair after my shower last night - talk about bad hair day this morning! I need to sort that out too.

Hello all … just popping in to say ‘we’re home!’  Got back yesterday after a few days in sunny Lincolnshire with MIL. The birdsong there was wonderful, especially the song thrushes, and the blossom just beautiful … it’s just a bit milder there than here in Norfolk, and it shows 😊   MIL  was very well, but a bit tired still, so pacing herself. We had a day out while she rested, visiting some favourite places, the Hills&Holes at Barnack, John Clare’s cottage at Helpston and the mill at Wymondham, then Stamford and Burghley.
I hope everyone’s well and there’s been no hiccups or catastrophes … I’ll read back but don’t expect me to remember everything …. 😵‍💫
